Hogenakkal Falls



Hogenakkal Falls is a one of the longest cascade in South India on the river Kaveri. This cascade is located in the Dharmapuri district in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. This cascade is also called as “Niagara of India.” The major activities of this cascade are medicinal baths and ride charters and boats. It is the foremost tourist spot in Tamil Nadu.

Dambulla Cave Temple



Dambulla cave temple is also referred as Golden temple that located in the centre of Sri Lanka. It is one of the largest cave temples in the world. The rock towers are placed at height of 160 m in the slopes. There are more than eighty documented caves in the background area.  

The excellent statues and paintings are occurred nearly five caves in this shrine. All the paintings and statues resemble God Buddha and this entire life message. As per the counting, there are 153 Buddha statues, three Sri Lankan emperors, four statues of gods and goddesses, the statues of Hindu gods especially for Lord Vishnu and Lord Ganesh. 


The five caves in this temple are fantastically converted into five rooms. This shrine structure has been composed in the periods of 1 BC to 993 AD. The path for the temple is formulated alonf the gentle slope of the Dambulla Rock, offering a panoramic glance of the surrounding flat lands that embrace the rock fortress Sigiriya, which situated 19 km far. Velankanni Church



This devotional church is located in Nagapattinam District at Tamil Nadu and it is under the part of Tanjore Roman Catholic Diocese. At the same time, Church is located at the shoreline of Bay of Bengal, which exists 12 km from Nagapattinam. The church in this divine place is significant for the Roman Catholic holy place for the Goddess of Good Health.   

The millions of devotees visit this holy place often to pray our Lady for various needs and thanking her for the favors got via mediation. Mother Mary appeared with the Infant Jesus in this small costal hamlet at the end of the 16th or in the early 17th century. After that, Vailankanni is the most central pilgrimage and nearly the synthesis of all Marian Sanctuaries for the holy place in the globe.

The devotees of Mother Mary come from all around the world. Day by day, the number of devout pilgrims visiting this holy place is goes on increasing. The fame of Vailankanni Matha spread gradually. 

The Franciscan priest Fr. Rozario has been prolonged the small church of 24 ft. x 12 ft. constructed by the Portuguese sailors, to 70 ft. x 22 ft. by extending the nave of the Church. But the prehistoric little sanctuary and the Altar were conserved intact. As the years goes on, the Catholic faith has strengthened by ardent missionaries functioning at Vailankanni.

After some years back, even this construction has found to be inadequate. In the year 1917 Fr. Sebastio Xavier de Noronha lengthened the Church by another 20 ft. from the nave of the Church. In addition, two gothic domes of 82 ft. each one on either side of the opening facing the ocean were also constructed. At the same time, a two-story parochial construction with competence for pilgrims was also built.

The fabulous Mother Motherland monument




Mother Motherland is a monumental statue of the mother “motherland” in Kiev, Russia. The sculpture is a part of the museum of the great patriotic war.  It stands 62 meters tall upon the museum building with the overall structure measuring 102 m and weighing 530 tons. The sword in the statue’s right hand is 16 m long weighing 9 tons with the left hand holding up a 13 m by 8 m shield with the coat of arms of the Soviet Union.
The Memorial hall of the museum displays marble plaques with carved names of more than 11,600 soldiers and over 200 workers of the home-front honored during the war with the title of the Hero of the Soviet Union and the Hero of Socialist Labor. On the hill beneath the museum the traditional flower shows are held.

Visitors rush here throughout the year. It is the right place to watch when you visit Russia. The statue is compared to the statue of liberty in united states. It is said to be taller than the statue of liberty in united states.

Netherlands Keukenhof gardens



Keukenhof is identified for the beautiful Garden in Europe, which resembles the world's largest flower garden located proximity to Lisse in Netherlands. More or less seven million flowers bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares.

Keukenhof Gardens are situated in South Holland. Visitors can able to reach this place by bus, car and train from Haarlem, Leiden and Schiphol. The beauty of Buddha Tooth Relic Temple



The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple rises up at the heart of the china town.  The temple is considered as a living cultural monument inspired by the golden age of Buddhism in china during the Tang Dynasty. The temple looks very grand from outside. Photography is not allowed inside the temple. 

The first floor has a three door entrance that opens up to the South Bridge Road facing east. There is a courtyard that leads to the main temple worship area. The main prayer hall has vibrant warm colors and the walls are filled with Buddha statues. This hall is the Maitreya or the Hundred Dragons Hall. Just behind passing by a side entrance is the Universe Wisdom Hall and here the walls are filled with small statues. There is a tea house and cultural shop in the second floor. 

The third floor housed Buddhist Culture Museum. The museum is definitely worth the time and it is free to visit. The fourth floor is where they hold the actual Buddha Tooth Relic. You have to leave your footwear before entering the hall. The inner chamber contains the Relic Stupa said to be holding 420 kg of gold donated by the devotees.

The roof top has a nice garden. At the center of the garden is the Vairocana Buddha Prayer Wheel Pagoda. The wall inside the pagoda is covered with 10,000 miniatures Buddha images. The building makes you appreciate the art and beauty of Buddhism. 

A visit here is worthwhile, it is visually stunning and provides a feeling of peacefulness. They provide robes and footwear that must be worn when entering the temple. This temple is one of the main attractions of china town.

Penguin Coast the attraction of Jurong Bird Park



The Penguin Coast houses six species of penguins within 1,600 square meters.  The interior of the penguin coast is constructed with timber beams and wooden flooring. The penguin coast is home to Jurong Bird Park’s resident penguins. With Penguin Coast the park is the first among the three Wildlife Reserve Singapore parks to feature chock full of information about penguins in the form of video’s and photographs.

The penguin coast is the park’s latest attraction featuring a total of 96 penguins from six different species including Humboldt, Rock hopper, Macaroni, Fairy, King Penguin and the latest African Penguins. The African Penguins are adapted to tropical climate.




The Penguin Coast two 15 minute feeding sessions daily at 10.30 am and 3.30 pm. Don't miss visiting the park when you are in Singapore. Children love to see Penguins. It is easy to learn about their habitat once you visit this park.
