Experience the Genting in Kuala Lumpur

The Genting Highlands is located about 51 kms from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. It is situated on a mountain peak. A multi million ringgit playground with over 40 rides makes it Malaysia’s biggest theme park. There is so much of excitement and fun at the Indoor Theme Park, Water Park and Outdoor Theme Park. The Outdoor Theme Park has lots of thrilling adventures for everyone.

There are lots of attractions inside and outside of the theme park. If you wish to stay longer, there are hotels with in the mountain peak. You can get there by bus and then take the skyway cable car to reach the summit.

The climate here usually drops below 14 degrees and it is good to bring a jacket with you. You can then visit the Casino s Galore the only gambling area of Malaysia. The crowd here is mostly Malaysian Chinese. There is no entrance fee for the Casinos.

The accommodation and food is good in Genting. Children love the theme and water parks. The best time to visit is by 10am in the morning. If you are making a day visit, you should leave by 4pm, since the last bus to Kuala Lumpur stops by 8pm.

It is one of the best tourist spot in Malaysia. Don’t stop paying a visit to this place.

Adventure of Mount Everest

 Mount Everest is the most famous mountain peak in the Himalayas. The Mount Everest rises up to a height of 8,848m above the sea level. It has been known to the world since the early 1950’s when Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzig Norgay first climbed to its awesome summit. 

Approximately 6,000 climbers have attempted the summit of Everest, but only 2,249 have made it. Over 200 people have died trying and at least 120 bodies are still missing on the mountains.

Mount Everest is just one of over 30 peaks in the Himalayas. The Everest Base Camp is the starting area for summit attempts. Mount Everest is the popular place to visit for trekking holidays.

Mount Everest has two main climbing routes, the southeast ridge from Nepal and the Northeast ridge from Tibet. Of the two main routes the southeast ridge is technically easier and is more frequently used.
