View the Ponmudi hill station in Trivandrum

Ponmudi is a hill station which is at a distance of 61 kms from Thiruvanthapuram. It is at an altitude of over 100 m above sea level on the Western Ghats. Trekking has been a passion for the visitors to Ponmudi. The hill station is at an easy driving distance from Thiruvananthapuram. The tea estates, the mist-covered valleys and the stone cottage with peaked roofs bring you closer to nature.

Shopping is liked by more tourists visiting here. The shop sells blankets, goods, jewellery and ornaments from Kashmir, Rajasthan or Nepal.

 It takes 2 hours by road to reach here. The bus services are frequent here.You can pay Accommodation at Government Tourist Complex. The Government Complex has guest house with 24 rooms and ten stone cottages near to the hillside. Each one of them named after famous Himalayan peaks.

The other prime attraction in Trivandrum is the Aaranmula Boat Race and Varkala Beach.
