Tirparappu water falls is located in kanyakumari district. It is about 13 kilometers away from pechiparai dam. The water, falls from a height of 50 feet. The water flows for about seven months in a year. People visiting this place can enjoy a good bath under the water stream.
To reach the falls you can travel by air, train or bus. You can reach the destination from Trivandrum Airport and also from Nagercoil railway station. There is regular bus service from Nagercoil and Marthandam. It is one of the smallest falls in kanyakumari district.
The falls is 300 feet long and has a rocky bed. Dressing rooms are available near to the falls. There is a swimming pool for the children near to the falls. People enjoy this place with great excitement by deeply enjoying good bath from the water stream. You will get variety of snacks and jack fruits at a cheaper cost. You can plan a trip to this place for enjoying summer holidays. It is a part of Kodhaiyaru river.
A small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated on the banks of the river. It is advisable for visitors from far off to make a stay at Nagercoil. Luxury hotels with excellent facilities are available at Nagercoil.
