After that nearly 35,000 pieces were shipped to the United States. It serves members of the Swaminarayan branch of Hinduism that originated in India more than 200 years ago. The time-honored design features custom-carved stonework, a wraparound veranda and five prominent pinnacles evocative of the Himalayan hills.
