Ajanta caves


Ajanta caves are symbolized as the best tourist spots and acknowledged by the UNESCO. This fabulous cave has been located in Maharashtra district of India. Totally there are thirty caves in Ajanta among which 9, 10, 19, 26 and 29 caves are chaitya and grihas and the remaining resembles the monasteries. There are some pictures that remember the compositions of Greek and Roman culture.  

In 1819 AD these caves are discovered that build around the 2nd century. Some of the excellent paintings in these caves have painted in the years of second century and remaining is painted in the years of fifth centuries. Every painting in this cave resembles the religious myths of the Buddha, and Bodhisattvas. 


The entire cave encloses the sculpture and paintings of Buddha and Jatakas. With the excellent tempera technique the paintings are drawn on the mud plaster. The caves that were measured out into the heart of the rock and so the pious Buddhist monk. And out on the assignment to spread the tenets of Buddhism might dwell and pray and the caves supporters of Lord Buddha.  


The architectural details are come along with awful command of the hammer above chisel and the paintings of the infinite charm. The paintings on the wall at Ajanta caves demonstrate the events that happened in the life of Prince Gautama Buddha. On the other hand, there is the scene of semi-mythological history, the royal court and popular life of the ancient times, as told in romances and plays.
