Sri Sathya Sai Baba Puttaparthi




Puttaparthi is the holy place for the devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This divine town is located in Anantapur District at Andra Pradesh district of India. The highlight of this shrine is Sai Baba’s ashram namely Prasanthi Nilayam. There are lots and lots of hotels, lodges, restaurants and shopping complex in Puttaparthi and ready to serve for the devotees.  One can able to reach this holy place via bus, train, call taxies, and airplanes.

Airport in Puttaparthi is connected to the airports at Mumbai and Chennai that affords easiest path to reach this divine place. Airport is six kilometers from ashram and managed by Sathya Sai Central trust. There are also frequent train and bus services available here at any times.  


Sathya Sai Baba has been worshiped as an avatar by more than hundred millions of devotees in more than 170 countries in the world. The message and life, from 1926 to 2011, of Baba has been described by thousands of authors via books. The Motto of this divine organization is “Love All; Serve All.” Service to human is the main theme of this ashram. 

The drinking water project of Sathya Sai Baba has been begun in 1994. Under this project 750 villages are getting benefits of drinking water without any obstacles. The cost for this project is nearly US $63 million. On the other hand, another fabulous project run by this trust is Medical facilities. All the treatments taken in these hospitals are free of cost and it is the focusing point in medical service by Sathya Sai Baba. 


The hospitals that run by this organization are held in Anandapur district, White Field at Bangalore, Mobile Hospitals, Prasanthi Nilayam (Super Specialty Hospital), and Bangalore.

The world standard university is managed and organized by Sathya Sai Organization with an excellent syllabus along with morality. Some of the educational institutions of Sathya Sai Baba are listed below

Inside the ashram, the foods are afforded at very competitive price and most of the times in may be free of coast. The accommodation, shopping, and canteen facilities are offered to the devotees at the reasonable price.
