Brindhavan garden in Mysore

The Brindhavan garden is located in the state of Karnataka in India. It lies adjoining the Krishna raja sagar dam built across the river kaveri. The garden is famous for the illuminated dancing fountains that come to life after sunset.

The dam is named after the Maharaja of Mysore Sri Krishna raja Wadeyar.  The lake that is formed by the dam is one of the largest in India. It is spread over 150 acres. The Brindhavan garden is one of the best gardens in India.

The Musical Fountain and the laser show gather more audience. It is breath taking to watch the garden after sunset with lights and fountains. Children love visiting this place. Boating in the lake is fantastic. This place is worth to consider visit. The garden remains illuminated from 7.00pm to 7.55 pm from Monday to Wednesday and from 7.00pm to 8.55pm on Saturday and Sundays.
