Bannerghatta National Park



The park is situated 22 km south of Bangalore. The park functions from 9 am to 5 pm. The right time to visit this place is 9.30 in the morning. It is advisable to avoid Sunday rush. Children are more attracted to this place. There is a good variety of animals to see in zoo. The safari is thrilling and the visitors are allowed to take camera on pay. Lots of deers, lions, bears and tigers can be seen on safari.


Bannerghatta comprises the national park, zoo, children’s park, crocodile farm, Snake Park, prehistoric Animal Park and museum. The best time to visit is the months of November to June. Wild animals like elephant, leopard, jackal, fox, wild pig, sloth beer, spotted deer and the hare are found here.





The park is a unique relocation area for tigers and lions rescued from circuses in India. The National Park is a treasure house of a great variety of flora. The park is open throughout the year. Tickets for entry into the zoo and safaris are available at the entrance.Don’t miss visiting this place with kids and family.
