Singapore Night Safari

Singapore zoo is one of the best loved zoos in the world and one of its most popular features is the Night Safari. Singapore Night Safari allows visitors the unique chance to witness over 1000 animals in their recreated natural environment after the sun has gone down. The first thing the visitor should do is to take the Singapore Night Safari tram. The open air tram has moon-glow lighting which enables visitors to see the animals without disturbing them.

The Night Safari is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Singapore. The zoo is managed by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore and about 1.1 million visitors visit the safari per year. Cultural performances are a regular feature at the safari. They include tribal dances, blowpipe demonstrations and fire eating displays.

This is the world’s first wildlife park built for visits at night. Don’t miss the fire show which starts at 8.00pm or 9.00pm at the entrance of the Night Safari. The only bad part about the Night Safari is to wait in the queue for the tram. There is a guide to tell a short description of the different animals you see on the way. There are Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Elephants, Giraffes, Bats and heaps of other creatures.

It is a must see place for visitors and kids love visiting this place. Don’t miss visiting here when you are in Singapore.
